Hello friends, today we are pleased to announce that our 2022 Solana de Ramírez Rosado wine has been ranked second in the Rosé category of La Rioja at the 2023 La Rioja Vintage Wine Competition.
The competition, now in its 33rd year, is organized by the Caja Rioja Foundation and CaixaBank. It awards Rioja wines that best maintain their closeness to the fruit, the grape, and ultimately, the land. This year, a total of 109 samples from 53 wineries were received.
On this occasion, the youngest member of the “Javier Ramirez de la Piscina” family, a third-generation winemaker and winegrower, attended the presentation of this award, which we received with such joy.
Tasting
- Purplish-pink with a cherry-colored background. Very clean and bright.
- Caramel aroma with hints of raspberry, highlighting the fruit and lacking any acidity.
- Very well-rounded on the palate, very youthful. Very rounded fresh and balsamic flavors, maintaining the raspberry aroma with an acidity that invites you to continue drinking.
