Rosé wine produced in our winery in Ábalos

Our Solana de Ramírez rosé wine is made in our family winery. It is in the pretty village of Ábalos, a privileged enclave in the Sonsierra.

Here, the characteristics of the land allow us to obtain grapes of the highest quality. At the foot of the Sierra de Cantabria, respect for tradition and the introduction of the necessary cutting-edge technology are two of its hallmarks. This is how we are able to produce wines of the highest quality.

Freshness, elegance and versatility

Our rosé wine is perfect to enjoy at any time of the day. Its versatility makes it the ideal companion for salads, fish, seafood and light dishes.

Selected harvest

The grapes are carefully selected, opting for those grains that are in perfect condition to guarantee the best raw material.

Harvesting by hand

The grapes are carefully selected in the vineyard and harvested by hand to guarantee their quality.

Destemming the grapes

The stems are removed from the grapesto prevent the wine from becoming bitter.

Gravity transfer to tanks

The grapes are transferred to stainless steel tanks by gravity, without the need for pumping, to preserve the integrity of the grapes.

Bleeding the must into another tank

The grapes macerate for a few hours until they reach the desired color intensity. This method is known as “short maceration”. The must, without the skins, is then transferred to another tank by “bleeding”.

Fermentation in Tanks for 15 Days at 25°C

The must ferments at a controlled temperature for 15 days, allowing the sugars to transform into alcohol and the aromas and flavors of the wine to develop.

Clarification and Filtration

Suspended particles are removed from the wine to ensure a clean, bright final product.

Bottling

The wine is bottled using high-quality natural cork stoppers.

Enjoy it with the perfect pairing

Our rosé wines pair perfectly with salads, fish, seafood, white meats or light dishes.
