Valsarte is our winery’s brand for aged wines.
This brand represents the commitment of the Solana de Ramírez family to evolve and achieve maximum excellence.
Valsarte owes its name to one of our most emblematic and oldest vineyards located in the Lasarte Valley (Ábalos), from there we got its name “Valsarte”.
Characteristics of our Valsarte wine
Our aged wines (Crianza, Reserva, Gran Reserva, Vino de autor) are an expression of our vineyards, tradition and the search for the highest quality.
Tempranillo is the main variety, but depending on the type of crianza, we opt for single-varietal creations or coupages that combine the main variety of the D.O.Ca Rioja with others such as Garnacha or Graciano.

Valsarte wines are produced in Solana de Ramírez, our family winery located in Ábalos (Sonsierra riojana). Our winery is a perfect blend of tradition and innovation. Along with the most modern technology and tanks we can find our cellar, the barrel room or the bottle rack where some of our wines are aged. Visiting us is an experience that allows you to delve into the history of our family and the nature of our wines.

Valsarte Crianza
100% Tempranillo, it represents a classic Rioja. 12 months in barrel and 8 months in bottle for a smooth and balanced aging. Aroma with very good harmony between grapes and wood.
Valsarte Crianza Superior
90% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano, the latter variety gives it a character of its own that leaves no one indifferent. A perfect complement to fish, seafood, lamb, ham…
Valsarte Reserva
85% Tempranillo and 15% Graciano, a powerful wine that leaves no one indifferent. Aroma of ripe fruit and good wood, a Rioja Reserva suitable for all audiences.
Valsarte Gran Reserva
Available only in excellent vintages, made with 80% Tempranillo and 20% Graciano, it is aged for 24 months in barrels and at least 48 months in bottle.
Valsarte Signature Wine
A real jewel of our winery. Selected harvest and aged in barrels for 16 months, also located in subway cellars. It presents a coupagge 80% Tempranillo and 20% Graciano.
