Solana de Ramírez
Solana de Ramírez is the brand name of our winery for its young wines.
It is the first brand with which grandfather Vicente and his sons Vicente, Romualdo and Javier started in 1985. It embodies the tradition of making a young wine with the technology that accompanies the new generations Javier and Viki.
Solana de Ramírez owes its name to one of our oldest vineyards “La Solana” with very good sun conditions and to our surname “Ramírez”
Characteristics of Solana de Ramírez
Solana de Ramírez comprises young red wine of the year, young white wine and rosé wine, all of course from D.O.Ca. Rioja.
Young wines that leave no one indifferent and have become indispensable in the pantry or cellar of any wine lover who values the sincerity of our wines and the preservation of tradition generation after generation.

In our family winery we make the young Rioja wines Solana de Ramírez. Our winery, open for anyone to visit, is in Ábalos. For generations our family has been making wine here, in this winery. Therefore, we respect the tradition of our ancestors but we also incorporate technological innovations that allow us to produce wines of the highest quality.

Tempranillo with a touch of Garnacha, it is one of our most popular wines thanks to its freshness. Suitable for almost daily drinking but also for more elaborate meals, it is a wine that never disappoints.
Solana de Ramírez young white
A very interesting coupage that combines Viura, Malvasia, Sauvignon Blanc and Verdejo, this is undoubtedly one of our most versatile wines. Summer meals, Christmas dinners or as an aperitif, it never disappoints.

For rosé lovers we have this treasure 80% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha. Ideal to enjoy a glass at any time of the day but also to accompany light meals.
